• He still suffered some trauma that caused Madonee to manifest + his breakdown and stuff but whether that's the same as canon (with Ex-valk and Eichi etc) is yet to be discussed + decided!


• That being said, his bandstars personality is more towards the more recent canon stuff with his personal growth and development, but he's still a bit bristly (and still quite tsundere because I love it)


• Brought up young playing both Piano and Violin, he's still very adept at piano but he chose to focus more on Violin since he preferred the sound and aesthetic of stringed instruments (he's a big fan of the cello too)


• He owns an electric violin that his older brother bought him, but he much prefers the authentic sound of proper acoustics!


• His home life and learning regime was very strict, so he talked a lot to Mademoiselle to cope, but still grew up loving the music he was playing and creating, despite how strict his parents were. They became more lenient as he got older, eventually devolving into not taking a great deal of notice since they were at home less and less.


• They agreed for Mika to live in their home without much resistance, since at that point they were barely ever at home thanks to overseas business trips, and Shu's siblings were already working adults.

• Still very much into making almost all of Valkyrie's outfits, though he doesn't need to consider the pair of them dancing + moving so much so the outfits can be far more showy and elaborate.


• He bought Mika his harp


• Composes most of Valkyrie's music and lyrics (with the occasional input from Mika, and he uses Mika as his muse more than anyone + anything else) but gets talked into playing a lot of music that Mika asks to play too.


• Of course Shu still uses Madonee, when he's stressed or uncomfortable she helps him through situations, and particularly when he has things to say but doesn't want to say them, Madonee is always there to help.
